  1. Tevian Face SDK for face detection in photos and video streams.

    This is a basic and critically important function. The module automatically detects a face in a photo or video stream, isolates it in the frame, and prepares the image for further processing. This is important for several VisitorControl terminal scenarios:

    • to then successfully verify the guest’s identity by comparing the photo captured by the VisitorControl terminal camera with the photo from the identity document;
    • to obtain a clear and good-looking photo for printing on the pass.
  2. Tevian KYC for matching a visitor’s image with the photo in the document.

    This Tevian product automatically compares the image of a person captured by the video camera at the moment of registration with the photo in their passport, which is scanned by the VisitorControl terminal.

    The algorithm not only finds similarities but can also use liveness detection. This reduces the risks of spoofing attempts: for example, when a photo from a smartphone screen or an image printed on paper appears in front of the camera instead of a real person.

    In this scenario, matching is performed during the registration process. Tevian KYC compares the visitor’s image with the photo in the presented document. It then sends the comparison result to VisitorControl for a decision on whether to issue a pass.

    This approach improves the reliability of the check and helps reduce the likelihood of access using someone else’s document — whether lost or unlawfully presented.

  3. Tevian IDP for intelligent document recognition.

    Speed and accuracy in data processing are essential for efficient pass‑office operation. The Tevian IDP passport recognition engine helps significantly speed up the process. The visitor only needs to place the passport against the document scanner installed in the VisitorControl terminal or at the operator’s workstation.

    The system automatically extracts the required information, for example:

    • last name, first name, and patronymic;
    • document series and number;
    • date of birth;
    • other fields required for visitor registration.

    After recognition, the data is transferred to the visitor’s electronic card. A scanned copy of the document is saved in the VisitorControl system database. Guest registration time is reduced from 5 minutes to 30 seconds, and the data‑processing procedure eliminates the risk of human‑error mistakes.
