Tevian provided FaceSDK for a joint SEVA, Atronik, and Pridex Technology solution compliant with Federal Law No. 572-FZ

Back to news

The architecture brings together three Russian components: the SEVA IP video camera by ATRONIK, Tevian’s face recognition technologies, and Pridex Technology’s commercial biometric system.

Joint ATRONIK, Tevian, and Pridex Technology solution for secure face recognition and biometric data processing compliant with Federal Law No. 572-FZ.

In this setup, ATRONIK provides an IP video camera based on its proprietary hardware platform and secure data transmission, Tevian supplies the computer vision algorithms, and Pridex Technology handles biometric data processing and integration into the customer’s workflows.

The key feature of the joint solution is secure transmission of biometric data from the video camera to the data processing center of the commercial biometric system. During testing, the partners implemented a KS1-class secure communication channel, enabling the system to be used in scenarios related to the requirements of Federal Law No. 572-FZ.

In the project, Tevian is responsible for face preprocessing. Components from Tevian FaceSDK were tested on the SEVA intelligent cyber-secure IP video camera. The tests showed that video stream processing can be performed directly on the camera, without the need to transmit all data to a server.

This reduces the load on communication channels and server infrastructure. The camera analyzes the image locally, selects a suitable frame, and sends it to Pridex Technology’s commercial biometric system.

Testing showed that Tevian FaceSDK can be used not only on servers, but also on edge devices, directly inside an IP camera. This makes it possible to deploy biometric identification at sites where transmitting the entire video stream to a server is impractical or technically difficult. Other neural network algorithms also run on the intelligent video camera alongside the biometric task.

The solution can be used in office centers, manufacturing sites, logistics facilities, retail, and other high-traffic locations. Use cases include face-based access, time and attendance tracking, employee presence monitoring, and automated access control.
